My Rainbow Drops and Gays

I received an interesting e-mail from someone who wanted to draw my attention to the fact that the rainbow is usually used to refer to gays and that it's one of their symbols. He even linked a blog for Jordanian gays which is called Jordan Rainbow. How nice!
Honestly speaking I've never heard of such a thing before, first time I know that gays have chosen the rainbow as their symbol! I feel ignorant and naive. I've never paid attention to their news, never been concerned about anything that has to do with them. And now to know that they do exist in our countries, blogging and bragging about their filthy behavior, and that the title of my blog carries their symbol, left me totally shocked! Oh, I feel that I'm living in another world!
I wanna change the title of my blog, sar shobha, lol

LOL! I never thought of your blog name like that even though I know the association given between gays and the rainbow... hey, a sanctuary is warmer anyway and suits your sweet personality Diana :)

Don't bother!! I mean, I've never thought about yr blog this way...even though I know and I see rainbows a lot in San Francisco...but never realted yr blog to them! Unless you are afraid anybody googling gays issues would arrive to yr blog!
It's up to you at the end...but as for me I like it this way :)

that's not the only meaning of rainbow or a rainbow flag... it can also mean pacifism and multiculturality. Back in 2003, people demonstrating against war in Iraq would often have rainbow flags.
I like your new title. But I LOVE the rainbow and 'somwhere over the rainbow'.

I knew about the rainbow being a gay symbol but I never linked it to your blog! It's not like they're gonna take it all for themselves

What about Jessie Jackson and Rainbow Coalition.I don't know if he uses the rainbow as a symbol for his organization, though.

I can't think of anyone else using the rainbow as a symbol, but, hearing the word rainbow makes me think of Judy Garland singing Over the Rainbow.

As for gays,I love them but not their sin.

Crystal: I see. Actually we carry no love or respect neither to them nor to their sin.
