The Triumph of Love
I stopped at this event with amazement. US marine who was terribly burned in a suicide bomb attack in Iraq came back home and married his sweetheart . Their love and devotion is unbelievable. She married him despite his horrific burns. They called it The Triumph of Love. They say that they see love with their heart and not with their eyes. This reminds me of " beauty and the beast"... Beauty lies not upon the face, but within the heart...I'm speechless.. really.

I love this story! One never knows if this was the picture someone posted on their behalf.
mon dieu, tu as vu en plus la tete de la fille :s.... c vraiment horrible.
It is scary.. but, I dont know really if a true love would courage a girl to make such a dicision.. and I am sure if it was vice versa, he won't make the same decision :s
I cant feel good for this man becoz he deserves what happened to him in iraq.. anyways, hope he won't come back to our lands, and let him live whatever life he likes away from us, he and all of his colleagues :s
Wouldn't a person like him be too clinically depressed with alot of issues?! despite the way he looks, i think this man is more burned on the inside :dunno:
she's a strong girl to do that tho.. but i personally couldn't and wouldn't!

a story like this just makes me wonder..how long before she dumps him? how long before he's really deeply hurt? (my views are a bit influneced by hollywood movies where women cheat on men like richard gear so don't mind me)
if i was him i wouldn't accept such marriage for her sake and mine.

She must love him to pieces. She is one brave woman, I really wonder how many people are willing to do the same and sacrifice as much to be with the one they truly love. It certainly is a difficult situation to face.

This is love.. but you never know if she will dump him, coz she doesnt look happy in the pic.. But if it is true love it will certainly conquer it all..

Allah only knows how many people this " innocent" soldier killed..
